Nah, im not actually all that into music but when i do listen to it i prefer it to sound alittle melodic instead of a tumultuous chaos like some one dropped abunch of pots and pans + i hardly respect any musicians being that alot of them are bi sexual or do drugs, but who am i kidding? were living in a world were thats totally cool huh?.

ummm...fred durst, shinedown, KORN (well old korn was decent), SKINDRED, puddle of mudd, godsmack...those are the people u wish to represent us then mike? sry bro, those are no better not much better bands for our generation to be proud of. i even agree that SOME of the music that isnt so "mainstream" isnt really what some people are making it out to be either, but honestly i think a good majority of the stuff that the radio plays is quite bland and unoriginal these days. but hey when it all comes down to it i guess everyone is entitled to whatever music they want, im not gonna necessarily bash u but i personally think that alot of the bands not played on the radio are much much better. what is important is that u listen to what music YOU like, dont deny it cuz it is or isnt what everyone else likes, if u like it and it speaks to you, well then more power to ya. but remember that everyone has different tastes.
