My local library is having a book sale right now. The public libraries here always have a small nook or room where they sell donated books, but once every few months they stick all of their backlog of donations in bins in a big room and open it to the public. Those are some ambitious books there. I don't know if anything could make me read Diamond Age.

I salute you.

Good luck.

Diamond Age is a great book. Of course, I thought Cryptonomicon was also a great book.

Your mileage may vary.

I want my own household fab, damnit!

That is a very good list! I'm jealous. I wonder if my libraries has any similar sales ever.

Oh yeah! Last time, I got some sight-singing books that went from fairly easy to insanely difficult, a replacement copy of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (I wanted one with the mistake in it like my ruined copy, and I found a first printing for $4.50), a few mass market classics to send my brother for cheap, Middlesex, and other stuff. I like the foreign language section. This time they have a sale, I am so buying something in Russian!

And our library doesn't always save donations for the sale- for instance, I donated the whole Twilight series just days after Breaking Dawn came out. I'm fairly sure that those went into circulation after being processed.
