had a bad day, back surgery recovery-wise. was doing pretty good until the last half of the day, then pain. yesterday was pretty crappy too. i think i over did it though. grocery store and laundry. i'll bet pushing that stupid cart around and lugging my full laundry basket did it. that's ok, 'cause i can tell it's getting better, but still ( Read more... )

the back surgery went perfect. went home the same day. one inch incision and removed a small piece of broken disk, so it was minor, but still full anesthesia. i'm really lucky that it wasn't a bigger deal. :)

having minor back surgery next wednesday. i have a piece of my disk that broke loose and is stuck next to a nerve, hence the pain and loss of strength in my left leg. it's only a 30 minute operation, and i miss only 3 days of work. yeah me!! so glad it's not major and going to miss 2-3 weeks. whew!!

i was planning and looking forward to going to norma jeane's memorial service around 5 august. not gonna happen. too much pain in my back and left leg from the ruptured disk, and also it would cost too many miles. oh well ( Read more... )

k, not a SUSPECTED ruptured disk. it IS a ruptured disk. pursuing several treatment options. neurosurgery, chiropractic, blah, blah, blah... have to go to germany in 2 weeks, so some relief before then would be cool. :)

i have a suspected ruptured disk in my lower back. hurts like a bitch! missed 3 days of work and missed the eric clapton concert. :( stabbing pains and aches all the way up and down my left leg. did an mri week a go friday, so hopefully the results will be in soon ( Read more... )
