I hope this works-here is our cockatiel Charlie. My parents gave him to Robert for his birthday. Charlie is fairly sure he owns the place, he's a very cute bird, hand reared so as tame as anything, tries to talk-I've heard him say hello and he frequently makes a sound like a phone ringing, but Robert is never around when he "talks".

I received a phone call this afternoon offering me the position I was interviewed for last week. At the interview I told them that I needed to give one month's notice, so they want me to start on the 21st January. I've typed my letter of resignation, now I have to take it around and give it to my boss. He is not going to be pleased! ( Read more... )

Every time I vote, I do so with a grin on my face-I know that half the population of the world does not have that privilige, and even though by election day I was thoroughly fed up with being bombarded by election advertising, it is wonderful to be part of the process.
