amazement

today, I was craving some food. You see, here in Denmark my diet consists almost entirely of pasta, gummi bears, tomatoes, and croissants. These are more or less the ONLY things I have found that are fit to eat and less than 5 million bajillion dollars. that was one of the things i disliked about my trip to europe two summers ago too. we were only there two weeks but the whole time we were like "WE MISS AMERICA IT HAS FREE WATER!!!" and i think i drank like a gallon at the first restaurant i went to when i got home.

That's such bullshit about the water! Sometimes that happened to me in Belgium. A few times I ended up just going to the bathroom and chugging water from the sink either from an empty water bottle I had or just using my hands as a cup. It worked okay, but was still ridiculous.

my friend who was with me asked our waiter if she could just drink her own water that she had brought with her and the waiter went on this 5-minute tirade about how you cant do that and that's not ok anywhere in the world, blah blah blah! and i was like, well it's not ok to charge for tap water! sheesh
