I hate you. Have you ever seen yourself in print in any reputable source of media (but not medium)? No, you have (not of) not. Do you know why? Seriously. I've never understood why anyone thought "of" worked there. It makes no sense at all. I think the contraction form "could've" is probably to blame because when you say that it sounds like "could of"...
