Summary: After going most of his life unbonded, Blair meets his Sentinel. At the same time, his young ward Spencer attracts the attention of a dormant that won't give up.

Thanks! I was about half into it when I realized I'd accidently fucked myself over and had to rework it from the beginning. I know exactly where its going and what's going to happen, I just have to get it there.

Yeah. I have to rework the six chapters I had finished to fix the giant mistake I accidently made, but I know where its going and how I wanna get there. Just a matter of finding time to write it with school.

I really liked this fic. I love all of the crossovers that you have in it.

Out of curiosity, how old is Spencer in this fic? 16?

I totally see Charlie, Blair and Spencer getting along so very well! It would be awesome to see them to get their "geek" on!

Yes, Spencer is 16. He entered college at age 12, completed his undergraduate work in three years, and is currently pursuing graduate degrees.

In contrast, Blair and Charlie are both 28 and Jim is 31.

Charlie, Blair, and Spencer are total geeks together. :D

I didn't want to write a story where Blair's main connections to the world was through Jim; I wanted him to stand on his own, with friends and family, and really merge with Jim instead of just fitting into his life. So I gave him Don, Charlie, and Spencer. Eventually, you'll get to see Jim's friends and family. Bonding is in many ways a marriage and in marriage, two families and two lives come together. I'm really hoping that's one of the things that comes through with this.

You just made me really happy ! I love Sentinel crossovers and to put some CM and Numbers with make it nearly perfect (it would be if Charlie's Sentinel is Ian Edgerton^^) !
I hope you get enough time to fix your mistake and finish it !

Yay! I love it when my fics make others as happy as they make me.

Charlie will have a sentinel before the end of the story, but its a bit of a secret. I hope you aren't disappointed, though!

I've fixed the mistake. I made a mistake in the continuity of how sentinels and guides function in this world and had to back track and fix it. Now I'm trying to get back to the point I was at before, but hopefully with a better story in the long run.
