The Strange and Frightful Weather
I am officially disturbed. The weather here on the East Coast of the United States has been unseasonably warm for weeks. I should not be able to have my back door open in January! Yay New Jersey!!!!
The Supreme Court decision on gay marriage is in, and it is better than I dared hope! They said that same-sex couples must be granted equal protection as heterosexual couples, although they are leaving it up to the legislature as to whether it will be in the marriage statute or an equivalent but named-something-else statute! So hooray!!!!!!!

For FSS--Rowan and kitty grass!
Dear Sweet Stef, here are the Rowan pictures I promised! We had to plant the grass in a big sturdy pot, because he pulled it out of this little plastic tub and drug it around the house. That was my surprise (and mess to clean up before going to work) one morning when I came downstairs!

This is for lbilover, who wanted to see the big, adorably gay-looking Paul Bunyan statue that stands in Bangor, Maine. I scanned it just the way I have it in our photo album, in that I didn't put the pieces of the collage together. I like the effect, because it makes him look even taller.
