Here are the garden pictures I promised Melanieathene. Some didn't come out as clearly or detailed as I wished, but here it goes. I hope you enjoy, Melanieathene!

Your house and property look so snug and cheerful and hobbity :)

They are! We really found the perfect house for us, and I am thankful everyday. :) Ideally I would like more property and woods surrounding me, but S. needs to be close to the train line. In lieu of that, our part of the township has a more rural feeling, and I still can't believe that we were able to buy here! Now the house prices our absolutely ridiculous (more so than 2 years ago), and we would never be able to afford where we are now.

Sorry to be slow commenting on this. I haven't been on LJ much the past few days.

What a lovely garden and yard you have. You and S. have done a marvelous job. Everything looks so tidy and beautiful. Kudos to you both.

Thank you for the pic spam. As you know, my garden is less than thrilling this year. The spring weather was not co-operative, and I lost a lot of plants. :( I really appreciate the photo walk through your lovely garden. *hugs you* I can almost smell the flowers... *smiles*

Thank you, MelAth! It gives me pleasure to share it. The coneflowers and butterfly bushes are just starting to bloom now, and the black-eyed Susan's should soon--the front of the house is shady until afternoon, so thing take a little longer to bloom there.

*hugs you and hands you the last red rose*

It gave me great pleasure to see it. *hugs you* I love coneflowers and black-eyed susans. We have reached the daisy stage here. Apparently it was a good year for them. I don't have the heart to weed them out. They're the most colourful thing in my "garden" this year.

awwwwwwwwwwwwww. *hugs you tight*
