It is both wonderful and humbling to have someone in your life that cares enough to go to all that trouble for you! My staff threw one for me for my fiftieth birthday last year. It is astounding to have everyone living that gives your life meaning within touch even if only for a few hours.

It is very special and I cannot think of anyone on my f'list that deserves it more. Many happy returns of the day, sweetie. Many many happy returns.

Oh Melissa that is so fantastic! What a wonderful, wonderful thing for Sheryl to do, but I'm sure it is totally deserved. It sounds like it was a total blast, despite the rain. After all, it's the company that counts, and it sounds like that was the very best. *hugs*

I am going to take more pictures of the garden soon. I am waiting for more of the black-eyed Susan to open--they are taking forever. Sadly, the storm uprooted our second-year butterfly bush in the front :(
