I'm still popping in and out. Don't tell me LJ hates me now too. *shakes fist at computers in general*

They had to install a new hard drive. They left the old one in, in the hopes that segments of it will be readable, even though the computer can't boot from it. I should have it back tonight or tomorrow... and then I'll know what all is lost. In any case, I should soon have email and AIM back up and running soon. Just in time to say good bye to them as we head off to Utah for a week on the 11th.

LJ is undergoing some maintenance at the moment, so hopefully things will be back to normal soon. ^-^

Utah, eh? That's quite a long ways from NS. I hope we get a chance to talk on AIM before then--I want to chat about your story!

Well, my husband hasn't had any luck reading the old data...yet. He's still trying. I think AIM has been wiped -- I'll have to rejoin. I have a ton of stuff to reload: word processor,email, you name it. Talk about starting from scratch. Ah well, at least I'll have LJ upstairs again. P's chair kills my back. It's one of those fancy contour things designed to relieve stress for people who spend a lot of time at the keyboard. It feels like it's trying to push me out on the floor. Guess it's a one-person kind of chair.
