I broke my pinkie toe today. It really hurts, it's all swollen and it's turned black.

On the other hand, I did watch "Escape From New York" today and it was awesome. Kurt Russell is clearly the love of my life. He works that mullet. And don't even get me started about the skin tight acid wash jeans.

But, still, my toe really fucking hurts.

Still, I've got to ask - were these two connected somehow? Are we talking freak wanking accident here?

They were not connected. Simply the high point and low point of my day.

The toe was a basic super-stubbing incident. I banged it on something hard whilst running to get a phone call (no wanking involved). I choose the term "super-stubbing" to refer to a stub so hard that you break toe-bones. Makes sense, right? It's looking ever grosser today.

I can't even imagine how much that would hurt. I hope John Carpenter and Kurt Russell's 70s and 80s projects are like a soothing balm to your broken thing.

(Actually, was escape from LA the 90's? That should be involved too). Oh, Thing, Big Trouble, those movies could kiss any pain away.
