The time has come.

Tomorrow (Sunday, January 4, 2004 at 5:35 p.m.), I leave Logan Airport on American Airlines bound for Los Angeles and then on to Sydney, Australia.  I will spend the following five months studying in Sydney and traveling around Australia and New Zealand before returning back to Boston just before the beginning of June.

tonight i was overcome with abject terror. i honestly can't tell you how fearful i am of crocdiles now. especially the estuarine ones that can live in salt water and are sometimes seen in the open sea. i thought that i would only have to fear sharks while attempting to surf in australia, but crocodiles are almost creepier. they're like ( Read more... )
