You may not believe me, but I wrote that myself.

We just finished studying Daoism in my Chinese History lecture. I've read a lot of the Dao De Jing, and I've found (at least with my interpretations) that Daoism is basically a constructive version of Buddhist emptiness. Basically, it shows you the emptiness of words when it comes to defining the universal way, and after demonstrating the relativity of all conceptions, attempts to give you a worldview upon which to guide your life in order to be more harmonious with nature.

What I did here was meshing the two philosophies into one, the way I think it should be. I'm doing this with the intention of laying a basis for a series of short stories.

I suppose if you want to read any texts, I would highly recommend the Daoist texts: the Dao de Jing (Tao te Ching) and the Zuangzhi.
