I've got to say, even at a young age, it felt kind of cheesy to hand off cookie forms to parental units. It's one thing to go with your parents to work, walk around with your cookie sheet, and ask your parents co-workers, and entirely another thing to give the form to a parent, and get it back a couple weeks later filled up.

With that said, I do agree with my dad that there's a difference between a parent just posting the form at work and aggressively going after co-workers.

Barnes and Noble actually prohibits any sort of selling/promoting/etc on company premises. If you become friends with a co-worker and want to ask them to buy cookies/support your dad's Polar Plunge/throw a jewelry party/etc, that's fine, but absolutely nothing on the premises.
