What a weekend....

 Last week from work was a very busy week... could not wait for the weekend.... So Saturday was a fun day... went riding with Karolyn and Taco. We trail rode to the straight away, haven't been over there in a long time, it was a very pretty day.... not humid, but it was hot. It was a good ride, even though XC was spooky at almost everything...

Wow! There isn't much you can do when the grass is right there in their face! I know just how you felt when she started coughing. When we had just gotten horses, (before we knew anything) we did the dumbest thing. We dumped a bucket of mower clippings into the pasture and my horse gobbled some up and immediately started choking. He coughed and coughed and we stood there not knowing what to do. Thankfully he got it coughed up. You can be very sure that we never did that again!

Yeah... live and learn... I am glad your horses came out ok too... if you never have since "choke" before... it is quite scary...

I can tell you that I will think twice again before ever going into a tall grassy field with my horse... ;-)
