maybe time to start zinnias
7.30am on earth day
coffee to get the blood rush
not sure if we need a fire today

neighbourly duties, stories to tell
the big melt melting boundaries
when those out in their yards give a wave
maybe eggs too, on barrie's green

seed to stem to leaf
a bit of green for a healthy life
each root a gift, deep in the earth
where it will drink and feed something for us
to drink, and feed

a breath on your leaves to warm you

a late early morning
four am was awake with dreams
around eight a yellow lab nosed me for breakfast

warm carbs for the belly, the sky rain and snow
no fire tho
above zero inside and out

love & pets quietly playful
working on something for us and the world

there are some days where a return to your old self manages to brighten the new.
