Well, here I am in Tampa. Another year has gone by. I can't believe it. And now the first half of the school year has gone by as well. Before I know it I'll be done with my first year teaching. Got some new tires and some bangin' black rims for the Maxima today. This weekend: tinting the windows. Too bad I don't smoke weed anymore...

I've been feeling kind of down lately. Not really sure why, but I think it's stress. Although since returning to work from the hurricane, I've discovered a new-found love for my job. The part that sucks is waking up at 5:30am and never seeing Thiago. I love him so much it's ridiculous.

Updating from skewl. We're finally back after a 2 week sabatical due to hurricane Wilma. Ft. Lauderdale is now a waste land, and I doubt that we're even going to stay in Florida anymore. As of today, providing that I can get Broward County documents of my juvenile record, I am officially a 9th grade English teacher at Coconut Creek High School.

So Broward County's tri-annual teaching fair is this Saturday and I am hella nervous. People, remind me that I'm gonna be an awesome teacher.
