TO has hit so many milestones in the last three weeks, I can't even remember them all. Crawling was, of course, the big one, but there have been some other major events as well. I should be doing homework, but I'm lazy today and I'm having a hard time working on this latest project. The biggest problem is the layout of this 2-page flyer I have to do. So TO has almost mastered the crawl. We did some practice on the hardwood floor today and he was going pretty well despite the slippery nature of the medium. My baby crawled today! I'm so happy I was in tears.

That's all I have time for, sadly. Must go do tons of homework and babyproof the house!

So I didn't send this out in email, but my mom broke her shoulder while we were in Florida. She had surgery on it yesterday and is doing very well. No pins or plates and she'll be fully recovered in 8 weeks. Unfortunately, that means my all-day babysitting two times a month is suspended. Well, it is December 26th, everything is unwrapped or given away and I'm left contemplating the Christmas Season. Overall, Christmas was good. The weather did not cooperate, giving us 40 degrees and rain instead of snow, but it made travel a lot easier. I got a perfect score on my humongous literature review paper and the only points I missed for the class were the 1.5 I screwed up on at the beginning!! My perfect 4.0 is intact! I am BEYOND thrilled and now I am going to celebrate by vegging out in front of season 1 of the Muppet Show on DVD. Merry Christmas to me!!!!!!!

So the grade posted was totally in error. I got a 98% on the final and an A (not an A-) overall. Wahoo! What a relief. Now, I hope I got an A in my other class... But I guess an A- wouldn't be so bad in there since it was a much tougher class. I'd still be mad at myself, though, perfectionist that I am. Well, must go get ready for our Help ( Read more... )
