Boy is my mind full of mush today. Could be from reading my assignments online, but the most likely culprit is the Imuran. TO is out of it today, too. He's drinking all his formula but not so big on the solids today. Plus, he slept for 1hr 15 mins this morning and has been asleep for over half an hour now already. Good news! The Imuran makes everything taste bad (even Oreos!) so I have no appetite. I'll lose this weight in no time...

I started the Imuran tonight. When I talked to my doc this week he said I had to be on it six weeks before it starts working. Then I have to have the Crohn's in remission for 6 months. Then I have to be off the Imuran for 3 months. Then we can start trying for another baby. But while trying I am SOL on the Crohn's meds. Wonderful ( Read more... )

I am feeling significantly better today. For one thing, TO did some sleeping--three regular naps and a catnap on my shoulder this afternoon. He also slept the night last night with one tiny episode where he woke up and cried, I went in and picked him up, he burped and immediately fell back to sleep. TO was up last night at 2:40 with a soaking diaper. We could not get him to sleep, which led to a fight and Tim sleeping in TO's room with Tim in the recliner and TO in the swing. Two cool things to report. One--I finally found someone online who was selling the CD version of a cassette my sister and I had when we were little. Sometimes being a stay-at-home mom really rocks. Like today--I was putting TO down for his morning nap and he wasn't quite ready to go in the crib. He looked up at me and started touching my face and smiling. He played with my nose, my cheeks, my chin, and my mouth before getting the droopy eyes and I had to put him in bed. It was so cute. We went to storytime today in our own city instead of at Grandnan's library. To tell you the truth, I was disappointed. The program was not as well structured and had less songs, one less book, and less fingerplays. The teacher was nice, but she just wasn't very enthusiastic.
