What people don't understand.

I am not your trained entertainment. If I am standing on the side of a circle just grooving or dancing sporadically, there's a reason for it. There's a reason why I am not jumping in the middle to get down... I'm not feeling it. I do my best to not force myself to dance as entertainment for others but rather as entertainment for me. Oddly ( Read more... )

yeah but then you have the people like myself who are so incredibly and disappointingly white that they couldnt even hope to jump into said circle. Now truth be told i haven't really seen you actually bust out, but from what I have seen, you got t3h 1337 5|<1LL5. I understand the doing it for your own entertainment instead of someone else's, but if you're good at it, why not make other people happy?

I understand both sides, just figured id play the devil's advocate.

to an extent, we do our dance to entertain others, but there are limitations to that entertainment. If I was getting paid, then I would have to do what I do when others wanted me to do it. However, in an informal circle, I shouldn't be forced to do something if I am not ready or prepared to do it... especially if the spectators are not paying me. In that, I will do it on my own terms such as to make others happy while also making me happy and not solely making other happy.

I'll see you tonight.

Wes, I totally feel you on the deal about circles.. and girls. Something that equally annoys me is when I just get finished dancing and I'm tired, then someone walks up and says, "You're good, keep going." I am not a trained monkey. I do not dance on command. People seem not to care when you are tired or not feeling it when they want to be entertained.

As for girls... I agree with you and kyle. I too suck at talking to the women folk. Hell, if Rogue hadn't approached me, we probably never would have met or started dating.

This is why we play well together. It always amazed me how much a chinese man from the suburbs and a black man from all over the world have such similar interests and thought processes.

You're very missed, friend.

Yeah, it's quite interesting. I miss hanging out. It seems so rare to run into people I have more in common with than, "We both breathe oxygen."

I am glad you aren't a "babe magnet" because that would mean you are a man of no substance.

I know you two were. I was speaking moreso to the other spectators who I don't know and were doing the same, much more aggressively than you and sarah.

There were many instances last night where people physically pulled or pushed me into the circle. That is uncalled for.
