Master the Art is in Ann Arbor, my own backyard! You'll finally be on my turf! Give me a call when you get here, I'd love to join you for the festivities.

I'll definitely let you know. The website says something about not being able to buy tix if you're not a student...so you might want to email them or something so you can get in too. A lot of dancers should be there so we'll have plenty of fun.
Settling for the post-graduation job is something that typically pays off, but years down the line. After a period of unemployment, settling doesn't seem like the worst hardship. I'm sure you have a good enough record (grades, hard work, attendance) that settling won't be necessary. The same can't be said for everyone with so much competition.
RE: Leisure
Swing and big band is loads of fun. I especially like Perennial Favorites (sp?) from Squirrel Nut Zippers. If you know the album and come across anything with the same energy, your suggestions are appreciated.
Have you been to the Bay Area before? I've been twice and it has a really good feel to it. Have fun!
"Everyone tells me to just go with the entry level job just to get one that pays and receives benefits. That is NOT what I want to do. I won't take that crappy first job that "everyone" has. I don't want to settle. I will take the job that I want to take. Isn't that how it's supposed to be?"
Sure, if you have the luxury of not having to pay rent, pay bills, and buy food while you try and somehow get the perfect career in our currently piss-poor job market. Otherwise, every penny you spend, you know you're not making it back.
Well, I do have to pay rent, bills, and purchase food. However, whilst I was in college I worked enough well-paying jobs to give me a buffer. I planned ahead because I knew I didn't want to settle for some crap job. That's why I worked 40 hours a week while going to school full time at such places like Deloitte&Touche, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Morgan Stanley & Co, and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Also, I have enough investments and know enough about investment theory to keep myself in a decent living situation.
Believe it or not... some of us plan ahead. And my perfect career situation is already in 2nd and 3rd interview stages.

Also, can't go wrong with the originals. The Dorsey Brothers, Gene Kroupa, Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, etc.
Last time I was in the bay I was... 6. I don't really remember it. I shall have fun!

You're going to see a friend there, right? Make sure Haight-Ashbury is on the agenda!
