It is now the lovely, serene Pica Place of Painting. The doors have two coats of primer on the backs, and one on the fronts.
Yesterday while I was doing the last sanding, Gina and Myshele - visiting from Scotland - swept and cleared out Pica Place, then put down fresh masking paper, making it all nice for ( Read more... ) -

The sanding of the doors has begun. I spent yesterday and today stripping more and more paint off.

Back at it...
The weekend was spent in Phoenix, enjoying a Soapmaker's Conference. You can read about it here.
I'm going to work on the doors one at a time. I'm a little worried about my hand - it is tingly and not very agile. Hopefully it is just temporary while it heals. I'm going to rely on the power of the mighty stripper rather than the power of my ( Read more... ) -

Not a lot of work today. Lots of errands and loafing. Put the final coat on the cabinets and drawer fronts. John put the pulls on the drawers. Working on doors tomorrow.

After a day of total rest...
... I'm putting up pictures. These are from Saturday afternoon to Sunday evening, right before John got home. I took more "in place" pictures later. It's still not all done, but the pics will give an idea of what is to come. But for now... the madness continued deep into the wee hours of Sunday morning... Then the purple hit about 1pm.
