Ok. So. As per usual, something annoys me enough to drag me outta the woodwork long enough to post about it.

This year ( :P ), it's Horizons ("Hz"). Or, more specifically, its forums and the arse-backwards company - E.I. Interactive - that just bought it.

Operation Flashpoint rox! Especially with the Capture the Island mod. Mixes RTS elements into a massive strategic fps. :)

Ummmm, lemme see. GW, Oblivion are the only other games (well, solitaire ocasionally too) that I've been playing recently. No time with the new house, and baby on the way.

Played OF when it first came out and wasn't really very impressed. I can only assume that it's improved since then? ;)

Me? I'm more a CS(:S) sorta peep.. the DF/OF style of games always ran afoul of crap squadmembers making the game frustrating (at least in CS you could run around solo and be able to wipe out the entire opposing team - if you were any good). :D

GW - haven't played it since I got back into WoW; it seemed overly reliant on group-play to be any fun and you guys were SO far ahead of me that teaming wasn't feasible. Hence, I wasn't having fun and didn't want to play. :( Lemme know if you guys have low-end toons to play and I'll come back. ;)

Oblivion? Don't get me started. :P And, now that it's been brought up, where's Blaster? He's usually crawling out of the woodwork to add his two cents for why I should play it (or its predecessors). ;D

Having said that, I've just skimmed accross the Valhyre site. Looks good, and they seem to have an understanding of the sort of thing that tends to make good rpg's which is always handy...
