You know who I think would've been a great president? Alan Keyes. I really liked him in the 2000 Republican primaries, and I think having an African American Republican president would have been FAR more unifying than a Democrat -- now many Conservatives will find themselves uncomfortably alligned with racists, whereas if we'd had an African American Conservative pres. then people with race as their primary concern AND Conservatives could've felt they had a share in him, with racists boxed out.

Interestingly enough, in the 2000 primaries he got his highest percentage of votes from the State of Utah (20%).

I agree about the humility. And it's funny, as an Obama supporter people tend to view me as a democrat/socialist, but I am in fact more of a liberal libertarian. :)
