I suffered severe Xmas 'melt down' and am only just coming out of it. With the possibility of Les being dangerously ill nothing else seemed important, and once we got through that Xmas was almost upon us. Joy to the World!
Joy in this part of it anyway, as the CAT scan shows no reason to be concerned. It seems a virus has affected Les, and it is going for his weakest points. I can't describe the relief we have both experienced, it has to be the best Xmas present anyone could hope for. Now life can continue. Of Reunions
'HImself' has now returned from his travels and all is right with the world. It was indeed a happy moment when he appeared in the airline terminal, and I could barely contain my excitement. We have a new grandson, Liam, born 14th September. This is especially joyous as the parents lost their firstborn son, who died during birth. We are so grateful they have another child to love ( Read more... ) -

Thursday and Friday were spent looking at sofabeds in various furniture stores around Hobart. Finally we found one we liked at Harvey Norman (should have gone there first); it has an innerspring mattress and when we tried it out seemed quite comfortable, also it is the only one we saw that looked appropriate for our house, most of them reminded me ( Read more... )
