This is exactly why I hate it when someone goes to compliment me, and all they can say is "You're so nice..."
I always feel like people should at least understand what they're saying about the person and not just throw out blind compliments or meaningless heartfelt sayings.
But then, maybe that's better than them dying and nobody caring? Hmm. Lies, or nonchalance. Not the best way to go at all...very depressing.
