Here's a tiny, tiny Part 5. Everything up to (and including) Part 5 has been exposition. I think I know what happens from here on in, but it's not totally choreographed, so it might be awhile before Part 6 is posted.

Best line I've read in a fic in a long time:

It just made me laugh. Sooo Brian. Perfect.

I really like where you're taking this. I can tell it's going to take a while to really fully develop, but I like that. Brian has to come to terms with what he wants, and Justin is going to have to realize what *he* wants (which is Brian - duh. Right?), and Dan... well... Dan's going to have to find someone else. Because we don't want him to be lonely or sad or something. He's too nice a guy. Hee! ;)

Absolutely. He's reacted some and he's coasted a lot, but he's done very little looking inward and deciding what he really wants! Time for Justin to do a little bit of that!

Yeah, Brian usually has it way too easy. He normally just has to cock an eyebrow and drop his pants and he pretty much gets whatever he wants. He's going to have to put in a little more effort here!

Wow, just the other day, I was thinking that it had been a while since the last chapter, and I was hoping that a new one would be out real soon. And this was the post at the top of my Friends list!

I really love the way you write (as does the entire fandom). You have really made me love Dan, even though he probably is too settled for Justin, who I think needs to have more excitement in his life. Dan was great for Justin, though, in being a stabilizing influence when his world was torn apart by both Brian's machinations and Jennifer's death. It was a comfort zone that he really needed, and probably could stay in for a long time if he wanted. But I think that when he sees how much Brian needs him, he'll realize where he wants to be.

And I can't wait to read it!
