WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE SOME FUCK?

So I am just curious-- fic (or just general erotica) writers, do any of you ever base things off personal sexual experience? I'm just wondering if this is something people do or if I am apparently some sort of horrible creeper.

edit: Now with bonus Sherlock Holmes being smothered by tits in the comments

Dude, I basically fucked someone order to get more realistic ammo for future fic, which probably says a lot about just how healthy my relationship with slash is BUT OH WELLZ

writing what you know it is kind of the whole deal, right? If someone takes issue with you using personal experience in fic and calls THAT creepy, then I find it creepy they don't take issue with the whole fic writing thing in general lol

That doesn't seem creepy to me at all. Granted my only involvement in smut is reading it, but I can't see why you wouldn't draw from experience.

Since I'm rather hopeless in that area irl...not usually. But I have written some of the few things I've experienced into my stories, now and then.

I've never heard Gary Stu. People need to STFU and call everyone Mary regardless of gender I SAY

and yeah I dont mean like, play by play, but drawing references from IRL. I had someone say they can't read my fics anymore because of it!!!

I don't think any of the plots (when I actually have a plot, heh) are based off personal experience, but certainly a lot of my description is -- in that my characters tend to favour the same sort of thing that I do. It just makes a lot more sense to me. I can (and have quite often) write based on things that I'd never really try in real life, but it never seems quite as potent.
