I've been reading eDiets newsletters for a couple of years, but I've decided to give the website a try. It's only $5 a week, billed quarterly and I can cancel at anytime (ie, if I try it for a week and don't like it, I'm only billed five bucks and not twenty.) So that's what I'm doing, trying it for a week.

Out of curiosity, I want to know how you would react if the internet was soon to be abolished around the world. Would you cringe at having to start your research papers at the library? Would you buy a book of stamps and start snail mailing? Would you wear a paper bag on your head and begin to frequent new clubs called "Chat Rooms" where people wear ( Read more... )

I just saw on CNN that John Ritter died yesterday. Why is the affecting me so much? Maybe because it wasn't long ago that I saw him on... Jay Leno? Conan O'Brien? I can't even remember which. American legend? Maybe.

The birth control pills and green tea anti-oxidants/vitamins I've been taking obviously have some nasty side effects when you take them together. If I take one and then the other a few hours later, no problem, but mixed in my stomach at the same time I believe that they're duking it out in there.
