I bought a new computer Friday, after a couple months of trying to coax poor old Ampoo into running again, and then a couple months of Rick promising to put something together for me if he ever found time. It was never really very urgent to me, to be honest, as I get all my surfing needs taken care of by sitting at work all day...I just never felt ( Read more... )

That's rather horrid. Do you think your shoes could go in the washing machine? I know some shoes can.

*sigh* Brian and Sherrina (I think I'm just going to start abbreviating them to BS) assured me that it was Del, as they claimed to a) recognize the smell and b) recognize the smell because he'd already been pissing all over Brian's laundry. Why they did not address this situation earlier I guess I'll never know, but I can't exactly blame the cat for not wanting to go in the dirty litter box. I mean, I wouldn't want to go in there either, and it's not the cat's fault that his owners are horribly irresponsible. No, if BS can't manage to salvage the shoes (and by salvage I mean all the smell gone, no lingering wafts, and leather in the original supple condition) I'll buy new shoes and give them the bill, and then never leave any shoes or other clothing unattended downstairs again. It doesn't entirely solve all the problems, as the litter boxes will likely still not be cleaned often enough and there will still be a dog living inside my house. But I'll have some nice shoes again, and someone else will be out the $50.

not only has Del been doing this to their stuff, he is the one that pissed on my feet while i was a sleep on one occation and was caught peeing on my bedding. i think my subsequent attempt to inspire a fear of the third floor has worked since i have not seen him up here since... and he is now terrified of me as well *shrug*

Yeah, sorry. The host Jenny's using is totally bizarre that way.

The cat knows what must be done; nothing says "I'm sorry" like seppuku.

I'd like to see a cat honor-bound to commit seppuku. Will you be there to finish it off once it has made the cut? Perhaps Kate should have that job. Just put a kitchen knife in front of the cat, and if the cat touches it, consider that the cat's attempt to commit suicide (no opposable thumbs, too bad) and then cut off its head.

Oh I would be there to help the little bastard. I for one hate cats. They remind me of all the things that I hate most about people. They're like little sociopaths who like to pee and vomit on things.
