Today people were laid-off at my work. Not me, but it still doesn't look good. The company is having "cash flow" problems and is trying to cut back in any way it can. Everyone has to go down to 36 hours a week (down from 40) and we have a hiring freeze. My student loan consolidation has still not gone through. One loan bill (I probably get about 6 a month now), just started coming in while I was in Texas and is now past due. It is $700 a month (so December + January = $1400). I hope I can get an instantaneous deferment over the phone (I did for another loan that was going to be $400/month) ( Read more... )

Last night I had one of those dreams that leave you crying when you wake up. It was mostly just my sister and brother being awful to me.
