[In the background, there is a chaotic mess of sounds, from electricity crackling to metal crashing, but amidst it all, Tear's impassive voice manages to emerge clearly and steadily, albeit quickly.  She's used a fonic hymn to raise a magical sort of shield around her, but it's only temporary for the purpose of relaying a message ot the crew.]

Anyone try feng shui or something?

...You think these mechanical disturbances are the cause of something like feng shui?

Or something. Feng shui's good for chasing negative energies away, like ghosts, spirits, or curses. If the problem's something like that, can't hurt to try.

True. Although, I'm afraid I lack the knowledge to execute feng shui correctly. Do you know how to perform it?

Perhaps if we shut off the power, it may do something. If it is only pertaining to the electric items aboard the ship...

Though the work of magic also is not unlikely...

Ironically, I actually suggested that idea to the first mate earlier. I'm still awaiting her response.

But if it's entirely controlled by magic, then it may fail to do anything.

It is still worth an attempt, if Lady Oaks will give her consent. If we can at least find what is not the cause, then finding out the true cause would be much easier, and would lead us to the true root that much faster.

You're right. We'll have to wait for the first mate's response, then. In the meantime, let's look into our other options.

How can we determine whether it's due to magic or not? Some have also mentioned the prospect of a ghost. We must figure out a way to ascertain the verity of both possibilities. I'm still hoping that someone capable of sensing either will inform us, but if not...then we may need to consider a different method.

Well... I'm in the corridors going to the infirmary. I do have some magical abilities, so I've been trying to keep things at bay with those, but... they're not being as effective as I hoped.

What type of magical abilities were you using exactly?

Also, are you having any difficulty heading to the infirmary?

I'm using spells to try and keep the appliances bound to the ceiling or floor or... wherever. I didn't use ones that were very strong, because they'd take longer to cast and I'd need to make sure that I wouldn't get attacked or interrupted some other way while I was casting them, but I figured that the things wouldn't break free that easily. I'm still not being bothered enough to have problems, but it's nowhere near a permanent solution.

Do you know any negating spells? I don't know for certain, but if these disturbances are the cause of magic, perhaps it'll put an end to it. If you need more time to cast them, I'll come assist you and give you the opportunity to complete it.

The medical equipment is attempting to murder me, but for the rest of my tools, I am ready as ever.

Sorry. You're right, I shouldn't have mentioned the equipment.

Regardless, that's good to hear. Thank you. If you need help traversing the ship to reach a patient, just let me know.

There was only one troublesome piece of machinery here, though, and it has been trapped in the operating room for now. You may advise anyone who needs a haven to go there for the moment.

I will, thank you.

Understood. I'll be sure to keep that in mind.

By the way, you aren't injured or in any immediate danger, are you? You sounded like you were having some difficulty earlier. Unless that was the one you've taken care of already?

I'll be more than happy happy to assist those in need. Shall I show the beauty of my claws in a situation such as this?

Thank you. Just don't go overboard. We want to keep the crew safe, but we don't want to damage the ship needlessly.
