I have had a big case of cansancio today. That is not just the Spanish word for tiredness but a term that my curandera will use in the original language because it carries with it something else, a deeper resonance from a more inward-looking discipline in a somehow more philosophical language. Are you presently in Turkey ? The Ural-Altaic languages would be utterly beyond me in a month of Sundays ! I love Sufism and its similarity to Advaita Vedanta . I'm not so keen on the Salafis or Wahabis , though .

yes live in Turkey and no its not easy to learn Turkish or Turkic languages. but its rewarding in the way that it teaches you to think in new patterns. DOnt worry about the Salafi's etc...They should not be so important or draw our attention so much. There is much more to be found in the Sufi path than that.
