Is ACA going to loose accredidation in the merger? SCAD's miserable.

to the above question, yes, ACA is losing accredidation in the merger--John said it straight up in his "presentation".

I think this is a good idea, though I don't know that John is the best one to send the letters to...the WAC board of trustees might be the better bet, since they're the ones that are voting sometime in August/Semptember. John heard a lot of opinions today and they seemed to have little to no impact on him. Also, what about doaners to the college, who will probably be upset about this, as well as Creative Loafing? I'm willing to help get numbers and addresses and stuff and send things out, if you want/need help.

I feel like scholarship people are only going to keep getting money because it would make SCAD Atlanta look better to have "art stars." I feel like my scholarship would be worthless if it was from SCAD, and I know you're in the same boat...this is awful...

i will do that. whatever names/numbers/addresses you can give me will be much appreciated. and i will do anything you think i can help with. this school is my life right now and is shaping my future, i will do what i have to. my mother is also having our lawyer write up a petition for people to sign the first week of school.
and i feel the same. my scholarship would be worthless if it had scads name on it. even if this does go through i am going to fight to have atlanta college of art's seal put on all students who started college at aca intending to finish at aca.. not scad.

definately. i might even make numerous copies to send to different people on the board as well. thank you for keeping me informed. and any information you have that you thihnkn could help i am more than open for listening. you know more than i do. i just want to do something about it. and with the help of others i think we might.
