I have added you as a friend. You may add me.
I read that you are a hopeless romantic. I am a hopelessly romantic poet. Here's something to think about:
Sea Health
One thinks about oneself at last
As something whole, though life and death
Contend within the heart and breath
As every part relives the past.
And then one finds one part to stand
For all one is, and it points at
Another who is part of what
One makes of oneself, hand in hand.
One puts oneself inside oneself
And lets oneself go in and out
Of being and of being what
One wants and what remains oneself.
One leaves oneself behind but keeps
Oneself alive and keeps inside
What one has given to the tide
From surf to surf and deeps to deeps.
