dammit Pottermore!

I love the Harry Potter site 'Pottermore' so far, but there's one big stinkin' issue. They have this really cool "Potions" section where you have to go through the motions of making Potions, for House Points. So you'll crush some stuff and put it in your cauldron and add stuff and heat the potion and tap it with your wand and then... you have to ( Read more... )

Yeah, I've had that happen too. :| It really sucks. I do love the site though, the new back-story for McGonagall made me love her even more.

I'm in Ravenclaw too, willowmoonstone138.

YES! The backstory on McGonagall was a little surprising. I kind of love all the new background stuff. Need to go through the site and read it all again. :)

Just added you. =D GO RAVENCLAW!

I'm not on Pottermore, so I have no idea if it actually works, but I've heard that if you change the time on the clock on your computer you don't have to wait 80 minutes. :P

LMAO, that would be awesome if it worked -- it used to work on timed internet tests. I will have to try tomorrow!

They had this seven day "Magical Quill" event end of July and the first 100,000+ every day to answer a question and complete a task basically got a golden ticket in to "beta test" the site before it officially opens in October. I don't know WHEN in October it opens, but it's pretty cool -- you're gonna love it!

WTH is the point of a beta if they don't give their testers a way to give feedback when there are problems? Ugh! :\

The feedback you're able to give is basically if you're liking a page or not. If it's not working, you can let them know by leaving feedback and clicking on the ticky for "Site not loading properly". I guess if a few people do that, they know something's wrong with the page, but it was kind of annoying to know you can't give them ACTUAL feedback -- though there's "comments" sections, so I would assume they're looking at that here and there. ;)
