Stace has been gone about a month now. She is asking to come back home and bring Keith with her. Of course I am only getting one side of the story of how things are up there. No you are not expecting too much. Anything else would be a recipe for disaster both in your relationship with your daughter and her future well being in life. You don't want her coming back and immediately being totally dependent on you plus 1. Then when you had no choice but to put your foot down, resentment would ensue. She needs to do everything you said. Stick to your guns. As long as she is not going to be homeless, you are SO doing the right thing. Good luck and *hugs*

Children have to grow up sometime and your daughter is no longer a child. Time for her to see how things are in the real world. Some mothers would just let their child flee home at the slightest problem. Good mothers make their children learn to take care of themselves and you are a good mother. Tough love is love too. Keep your chin up.
