Christmas plans have totally changed

I started this month looking forward to having both of my kids on Christmas day. Tonight that changed. My daughter got a job in North Carolina so she is not coming home. I am glad she has work now but also sad I wont get to see her during the holidays. Originally I was supposed to go get my son Christmas Morning, now instead I am taking him back

Now that I have slept and chilled I am able to take a more positive approach. I have my son for most of the holiday school closing and we are already talking about taking a trip in May to North Carolina so I can see my daughter on her birthday. Sometimes a night of sleep can help.
