I caught up last night, no internet involved. Huzzah. And now that I have a library card, this should be easy to write about 8,000 words before Dec 1st. Congrats to Jen who has already reached that fantastic goal of 50k :)

Western part is in full swing. I totally think I'm going to make it this year, for the first time!! I'm at a write in right now, I just wanted to post what I already have written before I continue.

I'm very pleased with myself having written about 2,000+ words on my own without the internet. So I was caught up as of yesterday but couldn't update my wordcount till today because I'm home for Thanksgiving. So hopefully I'll get caught up again tonight or maybe tomorrow. Just when I think I got this novel licked, something else happens. Things are not going well for me with writing I'm afraid. I could have really been whizzing along through the weekend, but it was in the middle of moving all my stuff to a new apartment. I couldn't do it tonight. I almost made it to equal Jen's wordcount but now I can't stay awake anymore. So I give up for now, I'll try again in the morning. Besides, I've got to sleep on what's going to happen next exactly.

We had a good write-in today. I'm learning where all the elusive coffe shops are around my town through this. It was exceedingly hard to write for some reason. My ML reassured me that all writers hit the wall at some point in their noveling. She said that after 25k, it's all downhill. Granted, after awhile it was a bit easier once I warmed up.
