/im so grateful that this summer brought us back together closer than we ever were. i remember you killing every cd i had like drd and fsf and mtb. and i remember late night burritos, atkins, and the couch. me and you and some wine in the back of my truck with missy. so many great memories with you man. i really miss you.

/dude we used to tear it up back in the day. shows every weekend. those days were sweet. everyone would try and get crazy and be like "james is your competition" but this summer was sweet seeing you at d'rells parties and then busting that hotel in san jose with nelson and stevie was amazing.

yeah dude, i hated that competition talk. people always thought i had a problem with you, which was never true. we both sucked. but seriously, i always mention you when people ask who my favorite local drummers are.
