ok. you are simply wrong! saw was 10 times better than the grudge.

the acting was ever so terrible but it had more scares than the grudge pg13 bullshit and that lame asian twat popping up 1.5 zillion times. i thought saw was actually frightening up until the last 30 minutes when it got a little kooky.

Saw was horrible! It did nothing when I got home .. see, I base scariness when I get home and get freaked out .. I got freaked with The Grudge because it had some cliche horror sequences and Saw only had some good ideas but it had no horror quality what-so-ever .. and I've seen tons of horror films. It wasn't as good as the comercials made it out to be.

i think saw had some amazing build ups but nothing ever really jumped out or suprised you. like... the whole long scene with the little girl in bed was really freaky to me but nothing really ended up popping out or catching the audience off guard.

still... way better than the grudge in my opinion. only part in that flick i found remotly scary was the whole chunk involving that blonde chick in te offive building (not michelle gellar)

oh... and forgot the part in saw with the whole camera light shit. that freaked me out mang.
