Good vibes
Having some good vibes sent to me. It was in the form of a teddy bear. I was gifted one for Christmas. I can say this is wonderful. Such a very nice present. New Years Resolutions
Happy New Year! Made a few resolutions. I have 365 days to get them done. I am happy for this. Going to listen to more books as well as read them. I plan on listening to or reading a book a month. We have been asked, “will you make some Christmas candy?” I will make the fudge and the one walnut candy on the list. Will it be the turtles or the walnut bars? Truffles are always welcomed here. -
Cookie recipes
Of all the things I love to bake cookies are one of those things. Especially Christmas cookies. It’s been a challenging year. Another shopping season
There are times when I go to the thrift stores. Now more often with the economy. I had bought a book. I see assorted items on the shelves. I wonder about the stories behind the stuffed animals. First week December 2022
Here it is the first week of December 2022. The sunny days are wonderful. The sky is a brilliant blue. Cold wind blowing. And in the wee hours of the morning, a cup of hot cocoa is delicious. I am so happy to have this time to do this. Reading a book. Working on a cross word puzzle. Early mornings are so great. -
Saturday’s popcorn flavor
I had been looking up different recipes to flavor the popcorn. I am thinking of ranch or French onion and chives. Of all the different foods. One of my most favorite is popcorn. -
Soup and crackers
Looking at one more month of Winter, watching old movies. Having a bowl of popcorn and iced tea. -
So many things
So many things to do. Vacations are great. Especially when you have those calm moments in the day. -
A day in October
One day in October is worth a more than almost any other day in the other months. The Fall leaves, the crisp cool air. The pumpkin treats being served. A cup of hot cider to sip. Smiling as my teddy bear sits beside me enjoying the cool air also.
