I figured I never update anymore, so I'm semi-retiring this journal.  I'll use it mostly for writing still (if you're on the writing filter, you're still in) but I tend to stick to twitter/comms over actual journaling.  I intend to make a public, semi-pro blog in the coming months, so i'll be pretty easy to track done.

One quick thing before the meat of the post; inspired by a couple of good friends of mine who recently had an adorable baby girl, I've set up a tumblr for photo and video submissions of household pets reacting to the addition of a new baby or vice versa: Cutesurper! It's a battle of Iron Chef-like proportions, to be sure.
