My best friend brought the first season of TW and we spent Saturday night watching it. I had pretty high expectations since I love 'Doctor Who' but I have to admit I'm kind of disappointed.I mean it's not bad, and I like the humor, the Britishness, and the crossing of the usual boundaries in TV for same-sex-relationships, but at least in my opinion

I've heard so much about this show but haven't seen it yet. I read it would start here in Germany this Winter. Then I'll watch it in any case. I'm curious if I like it! :)

Really? In winter. It's not that I won't watch more episodes on TV, it's not that bad. But I'm pretty sure it can't compete with SPN for you ;) (and for me neither)...

I made a weird icon of Jared (*points at the icon*) and am not sure how it looks for a "normal" viewer... Is it too freaky, what do you think?
I like freaky and crazy graphics recently... But still nothing crazy and kinky in fiction! LOL

I like it! And I don't think it's too freaky, instead it reminds a bit of the Andy Wharhol style.

Btw, since you mentioned fiction... It's not that I don't have enough to read, but maybe you can recommend me some good SPN stories or authors?

I was not crazy about Torchwood either.But I sort of fell for Jack!For a while.
Don't know Dr.Who.
I'm so ignorant in TV series...

Good to know, I'm not the only one, who isn't that enthusiastic about TW :)

I really liked Jack's appearances in the first season of 'Doctor Who' (I really recommend you this series) but in TW he's one of my less liked characters...
