I'm surprised at the emotional reaction I had today to MLK Day and tomorrow's Inauguration.  I saw a glimmer of hope for humans.

Well, things haven't exactly turned around yet - it's funny how when you get one thing in balance, something else begins to tip over.
But, I am working with two clients now who, while not paying out yet, at least feel more in right relationship with me and their process, and though I'm aiming to close them both by March I am also still looking for ( Read more... )

As I was busying around the house and my pre-teen son and his friend were hanging out, I heard something that made my heart so happy.  The Clash was blaring out of his radio.  Many thoughts ran around my head:

House sitting in this wonderful house makes me feel like a teen playing house again.  I loved that game when I was 16.  When my mom would go out of town for the weekend or I'd skip school to go to my boyfriend's house.  But, now, I don't love the game.  Now, I'm frustrated that its not reality - which is why I played the game in the first place ( Read more... )
