I love and agree with that phrase.... Sounds to me like your friend is a little racist/ prejudice against Arabs and has a false sense of reality. They have absolutely no concept of politics and how they work/ function, nor any clue on war and NATO. Tell them to educate themself on the situation before they decide to become part of the problem. He obviously doesn't even fathom the simple reasons for our occupation of Iraq though they are laid out right in front of him to be viewed daily. I loathe ignorance.... especially when such seemingly strong views are so warped by it.
