So, several rows of garter stitch on The Scarf.
Somewhat frustrating because the ribbon I am using for my hook-knitting (aka "knooking") has developed a strong crease in the middle, so it's folding over and not staying straight, so there isn't as much space in the stitches to push the hook into, which slows things down.
Does there exist some kind of ribbon which is a bit stiffer, less likely to fold in the middle, but not too stiff? The ribbon I'm using is grossgrain ribbon (which is stiffer than satin ribbon), but maybe it needs to be thicker or something. But not too wide, either. (???)

Might wide gift-wrapping ribbon work? Or maybe starching the kind of ribbon you're using?

I have a feeling that gift-wrapping ribbon would crinkle even worse... I could be wrong, though.
Starching... too much work.
Hmmmm.

I did have a go with gift-wrap ribbon (not really wide stuff, but some which I had on hand, shiny silver). It did crinkle really quickly, but it didn't actually fold in half. It was very smooth and slippery, which had advantages and disadvantages - advantage: it pulled very smoothly out of the stitches when I needed to pull it out from the completed row; disadvantage: it also had a tendency to fall out of the slot at the end of the hook!

One screencap from the other Stargate (SG-1) today, my beloved Daniel and Jack, cut three ways and with the text on a fairly similar theme in all... the first one I've animated and included the still version (the latter was needed for the former, after all :)

Thanks - it's a very simple animation, but I like the effect :)

I finally got around to paper cutting, I don't know why I didn't do it before because I'm way better at it than drawing and so it's 1. faster and 2. better.

For yesterday, part of a cutting I'm making of flowers.

Now I am just staring - how can you make such delicate things by cutting paper? Awesome art! I look forward to more!

I like the different fonts you used for the different messages, attractive and clear. I hope it will work well!
