Naaramamo Day 30

Aug 30, 2015 17:38

The penultimate post for August, hasn't it flown by? And can I just say a thank you to you all for the fun I've had from all the posts: the art, the craft, the photos, the sheer prettiness and the enjoyment I've had from all the creativity...

So here it is for today's art.

2015, daily posts

The last one is my favourite, I think.

Oh I'm glad - I did work harder on that one, I just couldn't let the idea go...

Resources are crucial! (Crafting with epsom salts? The inventiveness is amazing!)

Because this is the last weekend before our semester begins, and the last weekend of naarting, I got very ambitious and thought I would do one from start to finish. I started these last night and finished this morning.

I love the combination of the conductor's baton and a wand. Another fascinating character with beautiful emblems. It is a wonderful tree!

Returning to graphite. A photograph of a beautiful netsuke was my reference for today.

Thank you! I simplified it and took out a lovely cricket among the flowers. I thought he would require more time than I had tonight, but that the design looked well with just the flowers, too.
