Ok, so I saw it after all.

( Read my thoughts on it here (might have a few spoilers if you know nothing about the movie) )

I agree about Gambit! One of my all-time fav characters, and he was perfect! I'm a bit more reserved about Deadpool though. He was great in the beginning, but when he was turned into Weapon X1 (or something like Mimic or comic-Rogue when she could tap into the powers of everyone she had ever touched), it didn't feel like Deadpool at all. For some reason I loved Logan's line at the end though..."I see Stryker finally found a way to get you to shut up ( ... )

If done right I think a Deadpool origins can be good. It would take place I assume before he becomes Weapon X.

I agree; they seemed confused about what to do with Scott but I could get whole novels out of his brief scenes with Emma! :)

The Victor factor was wierd but maybe Logan did something that upset Victor or he simply thought this was a part of the game between them. He didn't kill Logan; they 'just' fought as they also did in the end of Origins. But such a fanfic could be great; let me know if you do it so I can go read. :)

Have you seen Star Trek?! It looks amazing!!! :)

I'd hope so, but considering one of the "end credits" scenes I'm not sure. If you didn't see that one, it essentially shows Deadpool re-attaching his severed head to his body...so it could take place either before or after Wolverine I guess.

Heh, why am I not surprised at that...;) I hope you write at least one :) Oh, and speaking of "the island"...I heard there is a young Storm at that facility...I must have blinked and missed it...

Regarding the fanfic...I have a few ideas but I need to think them through a bit more thoroughly. Then again, I'm a bit out-of-the-loop as for good places to post it. Need to research that...

Unfortunately, I haven't seen Star Trek yet. I hope to get to it this weekend though!

Hmm... I didn't see any young Storm either. Maybe some internet research will help us here. :)

YES! Someone else who found the movie enjoyable! RA RA RA! Go Nadja! I loved it too! And GAMBIT! He was so freaking HOT! Holy crap! *tongue hangs out* I love that he and Logan bonded. Our Rogue will be so happy! Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Two gorgeous men for her!

I thought the effects were cool too but no one else agrees with me. I guess I'm wrong. O....kay.

Btw, in other news (in reply to your nice comment on the equality post I made) Sweden has granted equal marriage rights and Finland has granted limited adoption rights so that's good news. :)

That is good news about equal rights! Good good good! I'd love a Gambit movie too, but I just wouldn't want them to put a great deal about Rogue in it, because she's not his soulmate to me, grrrrrr. I want my Rogue in Wolverine's next film, gosh!
